Wensley House Fees
These can be paid privately or through the Ministry of Health’s rest home subsidy scheme. The latter is means tested.
Fees cover;
- Accommodation
- Meals
- Laundry Services
- Household Cleaning
- Provision of cars and activities
For additional services such as hairdressing, podiatrist etc there will be additional charges involved.
Residents who qualify for a Ministry of Health subsidy scheme have exactly the same services provided as private residents. Doctors fees and most medical expenses are covered as well.
A fortnightly personal allowance replaces Government Superannuation and an annual clothing allowance is also paid.
